We will see scattered rain showers move through tonight. Before midnight, the forecast calls for rain showers in in the lower valleys, but it will likely transition to snow during the early morning hours with little accumulations expected. The High Country will continue to see more measurable snow totals and it should get deeper through Sunday!
Morning lows will be colder Thursday than Wednesday mostly in the upper 20s/low 30s. Thursday afternoon highs will cool to 5 – 10 degrees colder than our seasonal averages, but remain very similar to Wednesday (partly cloudy, scattered rain and breezy). This unsettled weather pattern will continue into the weekend as the main weather maker is expected to move across the state Saturday through Sunday.
