We are seeing another mostly clear start to the day on the Western Slope. A little bit of light cloud cover will move in before sunrise, but skies will clear up for the later parts of the morning. Gusty winds will make there return for today. Peak sustained winds for the afternoon look to be in the upper 20s and 30s once again with wind advisories being issued for the Grand Valley. Winds will mostly come from the southwest causing highs to be warmer than yesterday. Highs will climb all the way back to the 80s for the lower valleys, and will continue to warm up for tomorrow. Dry conditions will persist through the week for the region. We will see a cold front move through Wednesday night into Thursday morning, but the only rain chances with this front will be over the norther mountains. Winds will shift to come from the northwest on Thursday causing highs to drop all the way down to the lower 70s in the Grand Valley. We will not see the cooler temperatures for too long as we will be back in the 80s for the weekend, and possible seeing the 90s for the first time this year early next week.
