Why not call it perfect weather?
Except for the breezy conditions that will continue through this weekend, it is nearly perfect right here on the Western Slope. The temperatures will continue to remain above the average for this time of the year (GJ 75F Montrose 72F). This warmer than average pattern should last through the middle of next week. There will be some temperature fluctuations as a storm system, our next weather maker, continues to brew to our west. More data is required for the timing and intensity of this next system, but ahead of it’s arrival early next week we can expect stronger wind speeds this weekend and added cloud coverage. The dry conditions will likely remain in place as there is a trend for this next round of unsettled weather to miss us completely. Here’s to hoping that trend bucks because we could use the rain (GJ/Montrose rainfall deficit is -1.23″/-.85″ respectively).
