We are still seeing some stronger winds to start the day off on the Western Slope. The stronger winds are currently being caused by a cold front that is passing through the Western Slope right now. We will not see many showers with this front, but we will see a few pop up over mountain tops in the northwestern corner of the state. Skies look to stay clear and sunny all day today. Today’s highs will be 15-20 degrees cooler than yesterday in wake of this cold front. We will mostly see 60s today with a few places in the high country just outside. High pressure and an upper level ridge will continue to keep the Western Slope dry. With the upper level ridge building up for tomorrow highs will quickly rebound over the next few days. We will be back in the 80s for the weekend, and look to see the 90s for the first time this year early next week. Overall dry conditions will be sticking around on the Western Slope.
