A clearer sky is the pattern today with a little more warmth. Both of these elements along with lingering moisture/mountain storms will aid in the possibility of another brief round of Saturday afternoon rain showers. Gusty outflow winds can be expected, otherwise a dry and breezy forecast is reasonable. Sunday, the responsible weather maker will lift northeast away from the Western Slope and a cooler afternoon is on tap with even more sunshine. Drier conditions are in the forecast for the end of this weekend and into next week. Grand Junction will be back in the mid to upper 80s by the middle of next week.
