Grand Junction averages about 250 days of sunshine and year and this author loves it when the sun does NOT shine! It’s a welcome break from the typically high UV days we experience.
The weather maker responsible for the cloudy and breezy conditions is a low pressure system passing to our north. Very little impacts are anticipated other than those previously mentioned. A clearing sky is expected Wednesday night/early Thursday morning and under a ridge of high pressure for the rest of this week, temperatures will continue to slowly rise, the sky will remain mostly clear and dry conditions go unchanged. The mountain zones will still be able to fire off a few rounds of late day storms.
