We saw both skies and showers clear up as we moved through the overnight hours. Thanks to the clearer skies today will be the coldest morning of the week. We will see slight chances for showers over the higher elevations this afternoon, but these showers will be much lighter than what we saw yesterday. High temperatures will warm up to slightly below average levels and they will continue to warm up as we head through the work week. High pressure and an upper level ridge will return to the Western Slope by the middle of the week, and the lower valleys will see highs in the 80s by Thursday and Friday. A cold front will move through over the weekend bringing in light rain chances and cooler temperatures for Saturday and Sunday.
