We’ll see a warm morning over the Western Slope tomorrow. Morning low temperatures will warm up to the 50s for the lower valleys, and it will be a warm day overall. Afternoon highs will warm up to a few degrees below our records in the 80s and 70s. Skies will stay clear for most of the day, but during the evening hours a cold front will start to move through the region. Expect this front to bring breezy winds for the weekend, and high temperatures will drop down close to our averages in the 70s for the lower valleys. We will see a 30% chance for scattered showers in the valleys on Saturday with slightly higher chances over the high country. what showers we do see over the weekend will be extremely light and will not bring in much measurable rainfall. Another rain system will move through at the start of next week. This one will have more of an impact on our drought and dry weather will return by the middle of the week.
