We will see warm morning lows to start our weekend off. Afternoon highs are expected to cool down to our averages thanks to a cold front moving through during the overnight hours. This front will bring in light chances for scattered rain showers. What showers do form over the weekend will be extremely light and will not bring much measurable rainfall. Showers will be less likely to form on mother’s day, but a cut off low will develop over the Western Slope at the start of the week. This low will knock high temperature in the lower valleys down in the lower 60s and we will see plenty of rain chances with it. These rain showers will bring measurable rainfall to the region for Monday and Tuesday, but by the middle of the week skies will clear up.
