Monday Evening Forecast July 6, 2020

Tonight mostly clear, quiet and calm conditions. Low temperatures will still be above the norm for Tuesday morning. Typical lows temps for Grand Junction is 62°/Montrose 56°.

Red Flag Warnings in place for Tuesday and possibly Wednesday due to stronger wind speeds. West/southwest wind speeds of 15 to 20 mph with gusts topping as high as 30 mph.
Very hot and dry with wind will occupy the midweek period. Hotter temperatures will bookend this week with Monday, Thursday through Sunday generally pushing toward the hottest temperatures we have experienced this season. Triple digit readings are expected several times this week with Grand Junction records sitting at 105°. Hopefully we avoid those tie/breaks this week.
