Monday November 15, 2021 Forecast First

Enjoy the last of these mild temperatures because a shot of cold air is arriving this week and all of us will be feeling it!

There is an approaching cold front expected to swing through the region late Tuesday. Increasing cloud coverage ahead of this front will help boost our low temperatures into the middle 30s Tuesday morning for a “not as cold of a start”. Average lows should be in the upper 20s for many locations. Tuesday afternoon should also be mild/warmer than the average (low 50s) because the front won’t pass through until after sunset. The bad news if you like rain/snow, there is no opportunity to get into the rain bucket or onto the snow totals for quite some time. This is expected to be a very dry system for the Western Slope. The northern mountains may pick 1-3″, the Divide will be windy and the Front Range is breezy as a result of this front. Colder lows will be felt each morning thereafter and cooler afternoons with mostly clear and dry conditions in place. The long range forecast has mild/warmer temperatures and dry conditions through.
