Monday September 27, 2021 Forecast First

Wrapping up the month of September with soggy and cooler conditions.

Rain chances and cloud coverage start to increase Monday afternoon and should remain in place through Thursday (for now because the forecast is subject to change). Rain looks likely/heaviest late Tuesday through Wednesday for most of the tri-county area of the Western Slope. Expect breezy conditions ahead of the front and gusty conditions with any isolated, heavy downpours. Some of these showers should continue later this week for Montrose. Temperatures will also be lowering in response to the cold front passage by Wednesday. and remain as cooler through this weekend. Great way to introduce/announce the month of October. Average highs are in the middle 70s this time of year and this system will put those temps in the 60s for the mid/late week period.
