TODAY: The morning starts out with cold temperatures in the 20s and 30s and clouds. Light snow will fall in the higher elevations for the morning hours. By this afternoon, a cold front will come to the Western Slope. First, our winds start to pick up in the afternoon with sustained wind speeds between 5-15 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. Then, snow will come down from the mountains and will bring chances of snow starting at 3 p.m. and go through the early morning hours of Wednesday. Our high temperatures will be in the 40s and 30s today.
TONIGHT: Intermittent snow showers will go from Tuesday evening to the early morning hours on Wednesday. Temperatures will drop into the teens and single digits overnight.
EXTENDED FORECAST: The cold front will not only bring early morning snow on Wednesday but will also drop our temperatures even more. High temperatures will be in the 20s on Wednesday with partly cloudy skies. Overnight temperatures on Wednesday will be even colder with temperatures in the single digits.
