Morning Weather with Megan Montgomery 9/16/19

Weather

TODAY: We see chances of moisture moving through our area this morning for Delta, Olathe and Montrose and our higher elevation communities. Those storms will dissipate mid-morning before a storm system will bring our next chances of storms for the entire Western Slope region by mid-afternoon and into the evening. Temperatures will be in the low 80s and upper 70s for today.

TONIGHT: We remain with more cloudy conditions for the evening and a slight chance of storms in the late evening hours. Temperatures will drop down into the 60s.

EXTENDED: The same storm system bringing Monday’s afternoon and evening storms will move into the area with a cold front Tuesday. That system will bring another chance of storms through Tuesday. Temperatures will also be in the mid to upper 70s. By Wednesday, some dry air will give us a reprieve from the storms and temperatures will climb slightly into the upper 70s and 80s before a second storm system and cold front will bring another chance of storms and cooler weather for Thursday.
