We are seeing a very chilly start to the day on the Western Slope. The Grand Valley is seeing morning lows down in the 20s this morning, and Gunnison is down in the single digits. Cooler temperatures will stick around for the afternoon hours, but highs will be 1-2 degrees warmer than yesterday. Expect to see cloud cover build up as we move through the day and mostly cloudy to overcast skies will persist overnight. This will cause morning lows tomorrow to be much warmer than this morning’s. High temperatures will warm up close to 5 degrees for tomorrow. A weak cold front will move through on Saturday. This front will bring in low chances for scattered rain showers in the Grand Valley and light snow showers over the high country. After the front passes we will see clear skies and dry weather for Sunday and Monday for next week. The next big chance at rain and snow in the Western Slope looks to move in next Tuesday and Wednesday.
