Cloudy skies have continued through the overnight hours over the Western Slope. This morning was the warmest morning of the week. Morning lows were 10 – 15 degrees warmer than normal in the 30s and 40s for the valleys. Warmer than average temperatures will continue to the afternoon hours, but we will be cooler than yesterday’s. High temperatures will be in the 50s and 60s. Cloud cover will be building up into the weekend. A stationary front will form over the Western Slope Friday afternoon. This front will bring scattered mountain showers during the afternoon hours and widespread scattered showers Friday night into Saturday. Scattered showers will clear up by the late afternoon hours and we will see sunny skies and average temperature to end the weekend.
