We saw another warmer than average morning over the Western Slope. Morning low temperatures were 10 degrees warmer than normal in the 30s. Cloud cover continued to build up during the overnight hours. Warmer temperatures and cloudy skies will carry over into the afternoon. High temperatures will be cooler than yesterday, but they will still be above average in the mid 50s. We will see mostly cloudy to overcast skies all day. Tonight we will see widespread scattered showers all across the Western Slope. These scattered showers will have a 10% to form over the valleys and greater over the higher elevations. Once we get into Saturday afternoon these scattered showers will clear up and we will see sunny skies for the rest of the weekend. We will also cool down to average temperatures for next week.
