We saw a clear start to the morning, but cloudy skies will move in after sunrise. Morning lows are cold like yesterday. Afternoon highs look to be a little cooler than yesterday thanks to cloudy skies for the late morning and afternoon. We will also see chances for scattered showers move in for the afternoon and evening hours over the Western Slope. Most of these showers will be further southward, and over the higher elevations over the Divide. Chances for showers will increase as we head through the overnight hours. whatever showers form in the valleys will be falling as rain, and we could see 1-2 inches of fresh snow in the mountain towns on Wednesday morning. Wednesday’s highs will be 5 – 10 degrees colder than today. All of the showers will clear up by the end of the day on Wednesday, and dry sunny weather will move in just in time for Thanksgiving. The sunnier, dry weather will last into the weekend, and we will begin to warm up again.
