We can expect to see clear skies to start our week on the Western Slope. The clear skies are causing morning lows to be below freezing across the board, but once we move into the afternoon hours highs will warm up to the 50s. High pressure and an upper level ridge are locking in warm stable air over the Western Slope. This stability is causing our skies to stay clear and sunny, and rain and snow chances will stay out of the region for this week and the weekend. Highs will continue to run 10-15 degrees above normal throughout the entirety of the work week. The ridge will begin to weaken for Saturday and Sunday which will cause our highs to slightly cool down, but they will stay in the 50s, and the sunshine will continue.
