We will see overcast skies tonight over the Western Slope. We will have a warm night thanks to cloudy skies limiting the amount of radiative cooling. Tomorrow morning around 5 am we will start to see rain form an approaching cold front. These rain showers will continue throughout the day and we will start to see it transition into snow during the night time hours. We will continue to see rain/snow showers through Monday. The San Juan Mountains will be hit the hardest by this system, receiving 1-2 feet of snow. Other high elevations will see 6 inches to a foot of snow by Monday. Grand Junction, Montrose and other valley locations will mostly see rain, however we could possibly see a few inches on the ground on Monday. Get your jackets ready for next week as we will be seeing highs in the 40s and lows in the 20s for the valleys.
