October 10th Early Morning Forecast

Tonight will be a mostly clear night over the Western Slope. Cloud cover will begin to dissipate for the southern portions of the Western Slope around midnight tonight. The clouds over the northern half will be more resilient. Expect to be waking up to a warmer than average morning in the 50s and 40s for the valleys and a little bit cooler in the high country. We will see breezy winds tomorrow afternoon. There is a Fire Weather Watch in place for Rio Blanco County and Norther Colorado. We will see more localized fire weather concerns across the Western Slope. High temperatures will remain warm in the 80s and 70s. A cold front will push through the region on Sunday. This could front will drop our highs by close to 10 degrees. With this front we will see rain chances ranging from 20% to 50% with the Norther portions and higher elevations being favored. After the cold front we will see the first instance of below average highs this month on Monday, but we will quickly warm up to slightly above average highs as we move further into next week.
