We will see a chilly night tonight across the Western Slope. Northerly flow from the afternoon hours, and clear skies will cause us to drop down to below average temperatures for our overnight lows. A freeze warning is in place along I-70 between Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs, and along 50 between Delta and Montrose. Tomorrow will be a little bit warmer than this afternoon. Our winds will also mellow out along the divide. Expect afternoon winds to be between 5 – 10 mph for the western portion of the Western Slope and 10 – 15 mph along the divide. We will see close to average afternoon highs to the north and slightly warmer highs to the south. We will warm up as we move into the weekend. Expect to have sunny skies and highs in the 70s and 60s.
