We will have another warm and sunny afternoon across the Western Slope today. High temperatures will be slightly cooler than yesterday’s. Expect to have another round of the 60s and 70s as high temperatures will still be running 5 – 10 degrees warmer than normal. We will see mostly sunny skies this afternoon, with a little more cloud cover building up closer to the Divide. Overnight lows will remain about 7 degrees warmer than normal for the overnight hours. Our highs and lows will continue to stay warm until Thursday.
On Friday a passing shortwave will cool us down to the 50s and 60s and we could see some light rain/snow showers along the northern mountains. Saturday will be a sunny start to the weekend with highs being slightly warmer than Friday. On Sunday we will see a cold front that will bring some much needed rain to the valleys.
