Clear night skies will make a return to the Western Slope. Overnight lows will be warmer than normal for this time of year with 30s and 40s for the valleys and a little cooler at the higher elevations. High temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday’s. Expect to have another round of the 60s and 70s as high temperatures will be running 10 degrees warmer than normal. We will see mostly sunny skies this afternoon, with a little more cloud cover building up closer to the Divide. Overnight lows will remain about 7 degrees warmer than normal for the overnight hours. Our highs and lows will continue to stay warm until Thursday.
Thursday night into Friday a passing cold front will cool us down to the 50s and 60s and we could see some light rain/snow showers along the northern mountains. Saturday will be a sunny start to the weekend with highs being slightly warmer than Friday. On Sunday we will see a cold front that will bring some much needed rain to the valleys. We could even see some possible snow showers for the valleys on Monday morning from this system. Get ready for a cold start to next week.
