October 22nd Forecast

High temperatures will continue to climb as we inch closer and closer to the weekend. We will continue to stay dry today on the Western Slope with partly cloudy skies expected for most of the day. A weak upper level trough will pass through the Western Slope as we head into tomorrow bringing a cold front along with it. This weekend’s front will be on the weaker side only bringing in a 10% chance for light scattered overnight rain showers Saturday into Sunday, and a 20-30% chance for light snow showers for the central parts of the Divide. High temperatures will drop close to 5 degrees for the weekend from the front. We will clear up for the end of the weekend. As we head into next week a stronger cold front will move in on Tuesday. This second front will bring in heavier rain showers. And highs will drop all the way down to the 50s for the Grand Valley.
