A passing cold front will finally bring the Western Slope back to normal October temperatures tonight. This cold front will not be bringing us any rain chances. Our overnight lows will be close to average with 30s for the valleys. We will stay close to average temperatures for tomorrow afternoon. Expect 60s for the valleys and 50s in the high country. Cloud cover will begin to build up as we move through the afternoon hours ending with partly cloudy skies. We will also see the faintest of rain chances this afternoon at the high elevations. Most of our rain chances will be saved for the weekend.
Saturday will be a sunny start to the weekend with highs being slightly warmer than Friday. On Sunday we will see a cold front that will bring some much needed rain and even mixed precipitation to the valleys. We could even see some possible snow showers for the valleys on Monday morning from this system. Get your jackets ready because we will have a cold start to next week.
