We will see a cool windy day on the Western Slope. A strong cold front is moving through the region this morning bringing high winds and widespread scattered thunderstorms. Temperatures will be cooling down as we move through the day thanks to the front with most of the Western Slope expected to be in the 40s for the afternoon hours. The heaviest rain will fall for the late morning hours, and once we start to turn to the afternoon we will start to see some snow showers form above 7000 feet. After the front passes us by we will see sunny skies and dry weather move in for the remainder of the week. Tomorrow’s morning lows will dip down below freezing for most of the Western Slope and highs will mostly be in the 50s. Temperatures will warm up as we move into towards the end of the week. High temperatures look to be in the 60s for the Grand Valley for Halloween.
