October 8th Forecast


We will see a dry start to the day on the Western Slope. Thanks to see cloudier skies for most of the overnight hours morning lows are warmer than yesterday. Once we get into the afternoon hours we will see scattered rain showers and thunderstorms move into the Western Slope. These showers will cause our highs to drop down into the 60s for most of the region. The heaviest rain is expected to fall overnight and early tomorrow morning. Scattered storms will continue throughout the day on Saturday, but we will see drier weather move in for the end of the weekend. The clear weather will not last for too long as we will see a strong cold front give us an early look at some winter weather next Tuesday. Morning lows for the Wednesday of next week will drop down below freezing. Prepare for unsettled weather for the weekend and cold temperatures for next week.
