Saturday Forecast July 17, 2020

Hotter temperatures will be returning today and into the start of the next week.

The high pressure expansion will cut-off the majority of the sub-tropical rain sources, but not entirely. Lingering moisture will aid more rounds of (daily afternoon) storms firing off, primarily over the High Country first. The heat will be building back in along with the muggy conditions. Partly cloudy days and passing storms with gusty winds should be the expectations through the middle of next week. Grand Junction has a couple shots at hitting 100° during the short term forecast.
