We will start the day off with cloudy skies and scattered snow showers in the Western Slope. Cloudy skies caused our morning lows to be much warmer than where we were yesterday. We will see 15% snow chances last through the morning hours. For most of the Western Slope these showers will clear up by noon, but over the southern sections of the Divide we will see them last a tad bit longer. Snow totals from this system will be extremely light only up to 1 – 2 inches along the highest elevations. This cold front will cool our highs considerably. Average highs across the region will drop down to the lower 30s. Chilly temperatures will last through the weekend, and we can expect to warm up by the middle of next week.
