Mountain zones will continue to benefit from late day storms initiating and moving. The key phrase is moving because if these storms were to remain stationary then flood watches/warnings would be likely for burn scars. That threat is very low as we head through this long weekend. Rain showers will be isolated for the lower elevations while gusty wind speeds will be more widespread. Temperatures will also be increasing as we work through the forecast into the middle of next week. Increasing temperatures, more sunshine and fewer storms will be the pattern as we clear the holiday and commence into the first week of July.
