In coming storm system this weekend, should deliver wind, some rain and cooler temperatures.
Saturday, ahead of the approaching low pressure system/cold front, will be windy for many locations on the Western Slope. Isolated showers and thunderstorms should develop Saturday evening and linger through Sunday morning. Sunday will also have a breezy/windy forecast along with a drop in temperatures. Showers and thunderstorms are also expected, but should remain as minimal in coverage. By the start of the new work week, the cold front will have passed through the Western Slope and cooler temperatures will be experienced. Expect a ten degree drop on Monday from Sunday afternoon’s temperatures and overall a significant drop compared to the middle 80s and 90s experienced last week. Autumn begins Wednesday September 22 and the temperatures and conditions should be near perfect.
