We will see another hot day to close out the week on the Western Slope. The strong upper level ridge that brought in the extremely high temperatures has started to move to our east causing us to cool down as we head into the weekend. Winds will shift from predominately northly to southwesterly. This will cause us to see some of the wildfire smoke clear out of the region. We will still stay dry on the Western Slope, but we will see clearer skies and cooler temperatures in the low 90s and upper 80s in the valley for the weekend with everywhere dropping out of the 90s by the middle of next week.
