September 11th Early Morning Forecast


Cold and wet conditions will begin to leave the Western Slope tonight. Outside of the Divide light rain chances will be around until midnight tonight. Closer to the Divide we will have to wait until 8 for the precipitation chances to full leave the area, and may see some more light snowfall in Gunnison. After rain moves out of the region we can expect clear skies to mostly take their place. Tomorrow morning’s lows will not be record breaking but will still be around 10 degrees below average. Thanks to clear skies moving in we can expect tomorrow’s highs to jump to the 70s and upper 60s. We will steady warm up to average temperatures for the weekend, and will see slightly above average temperatures next week.

The next big chance for rain will come in the form of another closed off upper level low moving in from the Pacific Northwest. The earliest it could arrive will be Thursday but it could delay its arrival until next weekend. Confidence of its arrival day will be rising as we
