A dry work week lead into a dry weekend. The strong upper level ridge that gave us the hot and dry weather for the work week has moved eastward. Southwesterly flow yesterday drove chances for a few scattered showers over the higher elevations. We will have single digit rain chances in the high country this afternoon with the valleys staying dry. This is because winds shifted to be coming from the west, and dry westerly flow will persist well into next week. High temperatures will slowly cool down over the next few days with the Western Slow fully moving out of the 90s by the middle of next week.
