We will see cloudier skies for morning hours, but the sky will clear up for the afternoon on the Western Slope. Like yesterday we will see low chances for pop up showers and thunderstorms over the higher elevations closer to the Divide, and the book cliffs. The lower valleys will be staying dry. Winds will continue to be stronger than normal for this afternoon, but they will not be strong enough for any red flag watches or warnings. Winds will continue to strengthen as we move through the week. Chances for pop up afternoon showers will decrease as we move towards the end of the week, and temperatures will gradually cool down.
