September 16th Forecast

WE will see clear skies for this morning on the Western Slope. As we move into the afternoon hours we will see southwesterly winds push in some light cloud cover. The Grand Valley will still see mostly sunny skies for the afternoon, but the Divide will see partly cloudy skies build up. Skies will clear up again for the overnight hours. High temperatures for today will be slightly cooler than what we saw yesterday. Prepare for strong winds this afternoon as we will see 25-35 mph wind gusts in the region. Strong afternoon winds will stick around for the re remainder of the work week. We will see southwesterly flow to close out the week, giving us low chances for afternoon showers over the weekend. As we head into next week we will see a cold front pass through the Western Slope. This front will knock our highs into the 70s for the valleys for Monday.
