September 20th Forecast

Gusty winds will make a return to the Western Slope. We will have mostly clear skies today but cloud cover will start to build up past noon especially at Aspen and Gunnison. High temperatures will be around 5 – 10 degrees above average in the 80s and 70s. Cloud cover will begin to dissipate as we move into the nighttime hours and expect tomorrow mornings lows will also be around 5 – 10 degrees above average in the 50s.

We will get some mild rain chances for both Monday and Tuesday as more moisture will move into the area and a shortwave could provide enough lift to create some scattered showers. After Tuesday the Shortwave will leave the area and we can expect warm and dry weather to make a return for the rest of the week.
