We will see a clear start to the day with chilly morning lows. The lower valleys will be in the 40s to start the day and higher elevations closer to the Divide are below freezing. As we move into the afternoon hours we will see high temperatures warm up to the 80s for the Grand Valley thanks to an upper level ridge moving over the Western Slope. This ridge will not position itself over us for long as a weak trough will move through on Thursday. This trough won’t bring in any meaningful rainfall as we will only see a few scattered showers closer to the San Juans for the afternoon with the rest of the Western Slope staying dry. We will dry back up again as we head into the weekend with highs expected to stick in the 80s for the next few days.
