September 23rd Forecast

We will see mostly clear skies to start the day on the Western Slope. As we move through the day a weak upper level trough will develop to our west. This trough will push in some cloudier skies as we head into the afternoon, and generate scattered showers over the higher elevations. These showers will favor the San Juans, but we will still see low chances for showers over the Divide. Rain totals for today look to be just a few hundredths of an inch. As we head into tomorrow we will drier weather move in thanks to the trough transitioning into a cut off low and moving over the Baja Peninsula. We will stay dry through the weekend, but rain chances will build up again as we head into the start of next week.
