We will see cloudier skies to start out the work week. With the cloudier skies morning lows are warmer than what we saw over the weekend. Chances for light scattered rain showers will dot the higher elevations with heavier rain showers expected to fall in the San Juans. Highs for today will be in 70s and 80s, but will be slightly cooler than yesterday. Southerly winds will push in moist air into the Western Slope. This added moisture will fuel chances for heavy rain showers on Tuesday and Wednesday when a cold front moves through. After the front passes we will still see a few chances for pop up afternoon thunderstorms over the higher elevations on Thursday and Friday. Things will finally start to clear up over the weekend with highs dropping into the 50s and 60s afternoon the front moves through.
