The upper level ridge will continue to bring hot temperatures, and dry weather to the Western Slope. Northwesterly winds will push in more wildfire smoke into Colorado today, but winds will shift for the later parts of the week so that the smoke will stop building up. Clear skies overnight will cause morning lows to be on the cooler side, but once we get to the afternoon highs will be 5-10 degrees hotter than normal today. We will see 90s for most of the Grand Valley with 80s expected over the high country. the ridge will persist through the work week, and we will see hot and dry weather continue with it.
