September 8th Forecast

The strong upper level ridge will continue to rest over the Western Slope for the rest of the work week. This will cause us to continue to see cool morning lows, and hot afternoon highs. High temperatures will be in the 90s for most of the Western Slope. The hottest two days this week will be today and tomorrow. Northerly winds will push more wildfire smoke into the region. Once we get into the weekend we will finally see this ridge move off to our east. This will cause our highs to drop around 5 degrees over the weekend with slim chances for afternoon showers. These cooler temperatures will follow us into next week.
