The strong upper level ridge continues to rest above the Western Slope. This will keep our highs hot in the 90s for most of the region, rain chances at zero percent, and wildfire smoke in the area. Hot temperatures will stick around for tomorrow, but the ridge will start to move off to our east during the afternoon causing cloudier skies to move in. We will see highs drop close to 5 degrees as we head into the weekend thanks to the ridge moving on. Low chances for scattered showers will dot the high country during the afternoon hours on Saturday, but the valleys will stay dry. Dry and sunny weather will continue into next week, but our highs will be notably cooler.
