We will finally get a break from these close to record breaking high temperatures today in the Western Slope. A cold front will push through the region around noon. This could front will drop our highs by close to 10 degrees to the 70s and 60s. With this front we will see rain chances ranging from 20% to 50% with the Norther portions and higher elevations being favored. After the cold front we will see the first instance of below average highs this month on Monday, but we will quickly warm up to slightly above average highs as we move further into next week. Sunny skies will return on Monday and they will continue into the end of next weeks.
