Thanksgiving Day Forecast

Clear skies have carried through the nighttime hours over the Western Slope. Thanks to the clear skies morning low temperatures were close to their averages for late November. A cold front will start to push through the region this afternoon. This front will bring in 20% chances for afternoon scatter snow showers for both Glenwood Springs and Aspen. In the valleys expect to see cloudier skies and average high temperatures. This front will knock our morning lows to below average levels, but high pressure and an upper level ridge will take its place. These two features will cause us to see sunny skies and slightly warmer than average high temperatures for the weekend. We will see cloud cover move into the region for the start of next week as we cool down to average temperatures.
