Very little forecast changes as the Western Slope continues it’s storm pattern.
As has been the (daily) case, storms bubble over the mountains, mesa and plateaus by noon and drift slowly over the lower elevations late in the afternoon/evenings. There is an expectation that these storms will continue past sunset and into the midnight hour. Certainly another breezy night is on tap as storms will be near populated areas by midnight. Temperatures are still running hot and conditions are humid for the first half of the day before the storms get moving. The hazards associated with these storms will include gusty wind speeds, lowered visibility due to heavy downpours, lightning and flooding over roadways and inundated streams/dry washes.
