We are seeing mostly clear skies to start the day off on the Western Slope. Cloudier skies will start to move in for the afternoon hours, and we will see lower chances for scattered showers today than yesterday. We will still have a 20-30% chance for a stay showers to drift into the Grand Valley between 2-4pm, and most showers will stick to the higher elevations. Highs for the day will be slightly warmer than yesterday with Grand Junction returning to the lower 90s. Winds will shift to be coming from the northeast tomorrow bringing in sunny skies. Thursday will be the driest day of the week by far, and we’ll see a few more 90s get thrown in for the Grand Valley. These weak northeasterly winds will not last long as southerly flow will return on Friday causing more afternoon and evening rain showers to close out the work week.
