We will see a dry sunny day on the Western Slope today. Dry downslope winds will stick around for the morning and afternoon hours. This will leave us with sunny skies and mostly mild winds in the region all day. High temperatures will be warmer than yesterday with clearer skies in the forecast. Most of the region will be in the 80s, but there will be a few more 90s in the Grand Valley. Winds will shift to southwesterly by the end of the evening hours. Southwesterly winds will push in cloudier skies, and cause chances for afternoon and evening scattered rain showers to return for Friday and the weekend. High temperatures will drop back into the 70s and 80s for the next few days. Like what we’ve seen this week, most shower activity will be during the afternoon and evening. Rain chances will be drying up as we move into the middle of next week.
