We are seeing a cloudier start to the day on the Western Slope. Scattered storms will start to form over the higher elevations at the end of the morning hours, but rain chances in the valleys will mostly stay out of the picture until this afternoon. With the cloudy skies morning lows are around 10 degrees above normal. With the rain chances in the forecast highs will be in the 80s and 5-6 degrees below average. Rain chances this afternoon in the Grand Valley will be 40-50% with higher chances in Montrose than Grand Junction. We will continue to see scattered storms through the evening hours, but rain chances will dry up overnight. Rain chances will move back in late tomorrow morning, and we will see scattered showers through the afternoon and evening hours for both Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances will get cut back for the start of next week.
